More than ever there is the need to integrate several specialties of dentistry to treat complex cases. The reason is that adult patients seeking esthetic treatments often present with missing teeth, structurally compromised teeth, misaligned teeth, periodontal issues and tooth wear. This will demand a team approach that needs proper diagnosis, treatment planning and coordinated execution. The lecture will focus on:

• Prostho-Ortho coordination based in esthetics and function
• Ortho-Perio: Implant anchorage, Intrusion and Extrusion
• Prosthodontic materials selection based on structure, esthetics and biotype
• Common mistakes in complex treatment planning and how to avoid them

The speaker will demonstrate live how to analyze and record the occlusal parameters (centric relation, habitual occlusion, vertical dimension) and how to transfer to the lab the position of the maxilla into space using the facebow.
