Vertical Preparation is an evolving field. During this edition we are going to present you a new rationality for designing the vertical abutments, the reverse Engineering Strategy exploring the vulnerabilities.
The event is centred on practice! You shall drill and scan multiple teeth (for crowns and veneers) and reline & refine multiple PMMA shell provisionals.
We welcome your dental technician in order to maximise the comprehension of laboratory steps and build a synergy with him.
Coffee-breaks, lunches and social dinner are included.
Before attending the course you will receive 10 hours+ of educational videos on vertical prep, cast post and digital workflow in order to integrate and maximise your learning experience.
The course is open for 15 participants.
Capital Plaza, Bucharest

13:00 – 14:00: Lunch Break
14:00 -19:00: Hands-on session
You are going to perform Reverse Engineering Analysis of the teeth to be prepped
You are going to prep abutments for posterior bridges and for anterior single crowns using the reverse engineering rationality. Either shoulder-less and edgeless strategies will be applied.
Debunking full mouth rehabilitation.
20:30 Social Dinner
Day 2 | 27th April
09:00 – 13:00 Theoretical Sessions
Shell Provisionals: Designing, Relining and Refining
Impression: Analogue and Digital Workflow
Delayed Impression Versus Immediate Impression
Ditching the Die and Tracing the margins
Spacing the die: the inverted approach
Fit Checking of the Intaglio Surface
Vertical Veneers
13:00 – 14:00: Lunch Break
14:00 – 19:00: Hands-on session
Participants will scan, by mean of an IOS, all their preparations. Analysis of undercuts, axis of insertion, prosthetic space and kinematics shall be performed. Every attendee will adjust the geometry of the the abutments according to the analysis.
Participants are going to reline, refine and polish the pre-operative milled PMMA shell provisionals onto the prepped abutments.
Participants will perform shoulder-less prep for vertical veneers on incisors.
Participants will add coulisess, pot-holes and rails to their abutments.
